Located on the banks of the Thames next to Tower Bridge the Coppa Club had a polished marble floor tile installed that didnt meet the HSE's required slip resistance.
With their doors due to open at the end of May we were called in to carry out our Nano-Hone treatment which utilises diamond pads to polish the floor down to a honed finish and provide the required slip resistance.
We came to site at the construction stage immediately after the tiles had been laid. After our work we guarantee that the floor will stay above the HSE required slip resistance for a minimum 5 years. With this process we are not applying a coating that can wear, peel or crack, we are mechanically changing the profile of the surface. So, with a basic cleaning regime the anti-slip properties will last the life of the tile.
Nano-Effect (anti-slip) Ltd have various systems depending on the substrate. We can anti-slip any surface to ensure it meets the required slip resistance. Once a floor meets the required slip resistance then you have carried out your 'duty of care' and provided a 'fit for purpose' floor.
